Get ready for a spooky fishing trip with Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, where the familiar fishing action of the Big Bass series gets a Halloween makeover. Visuals & Vibes
The fishing pond has had a Halloween makeover. Count Dracula takes over as the fisherman, while the reels feature pumpkins, bats, coffins, spooky fish and other suitably seasonal symbols. Even the fish have joined in with the dressing-up theme, giving the game a playful feel rather than turning it into a horror show.
The look will be familiar to anyone who's played other Big Bass titles, especialyy Big Bass Halloween, and that is part of the appeal. The Halloween decorations give the game its own identity, while the fishing theme and Money symbol collection keep the action recognisable for fans of the series.
How to Play Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000
The aim is to land matching symbols across the game's 10 paylines. The base game uses a 5x3 reel layout, with regular paying symbols and Scatters helping to bring the Free Spins feature into play.
- Choose your stake: Set a stake that suits your budget before starting a spin.
- Spin the reels: Look for matching symbols across the paylines and keep an eye out for Scatters.
- Watch for Scatters: Landing three, four or five Scatters awards 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins respectively.
- Pick a pumpkin: Before the bonus round begins, choose from six pumpkins to reveal a possible upgrade or no reward.
- Collect Money symbols: During Free Spins, Fisherman Wilds collect the values of Money symbols visible on the reels.
You can explore the game through BetWright's online casino and try the demo version where available to get familiar with the mechanics before playing with real money.
Free Spins & Fisherman Wilds
The main attraction is the Free Spins feature, where the familiar Big Bass collection mechanic takes centre stage. Fisherman Wilds appear during the bonus round and collect the values attached to Money symbols on the reels. Those Money symbols can carry values from 2x to 1,000x your stake.
Every fourth Fisherman Wild collected retriggers the feature, awarding 10 additional Free Spins and increasing the Money collection multiplier. The multiplier rises to x2 at the second level, x3 at the third and x10 at the fourth. Once the fourth level has been reached, the feature can no longer retrigger.
Pumpkin Upgrades
Pumpkins can land on the rightmost reel during Free Spins. When one appears, you'll pick from six pumpkins again, with the chance to reveal an upgrade or nothing at all. Any upgrade takes effect from the following spin and guarantees at least five more spins at the current level after it is revealed.
The available upgrades can change how the bonus round plays:
- More Fisherman: Increases the presence of Wild Fisherman symbols.
- Start From Level 2: Begins the Free Spins progression at level two.
- More Fish: Increases the presence of fish symbols.
- More Treats: Improves the chance of the Trick or Treat, Spider or Bazooka features appearing.
- +2 Spins: Adds two spins at the start of the round and two more to each retrigger.
Trick or Treat, Spider & Bazooka
Three extra features can add a little Halloween mischief during Free Spins:
- Trick or Treat: When Fisherman symbols appear without fish, fish Money symbols may arrive at the end of the spin.
- Spider: When fish appear without a Fisherman, spiders may bring Wild Fisherman symbols onto the reels.
- Bazooka: When Fisherman symbols appear without fish, other symbols may be transformed into different symbols.
These features add variety to the bonus round, with the outcome depending on the symbols already visible on the reels.
Symbols & Payouts
The lower-paying symbols are the familiar 10 to Ace card ranks, while the premium symbols feature Halloween-themed fish, coffins, fishing rods, bats and monster trucks.
Five matching card symbols pay between 5x and 10x your stake, while five matching premium symbols pay between 20x and 200x. Wild symbols substitute for regular paying symbols, but they appear only during the Free Spins feature, not in the base game.
Money symbols are especially important during the bonus round. Their displayed values are collected by Fisherman Wilds, making their position on the reels a key part of the feature.
RTP, Volatility & Maximum Win
Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 has an RTP of 92% and medium volatility, giving it a different volatility profile from the high-volatility Big Bass Splash 1000. RTP is a theoretical long-term return percentage, not a prediction of what any individual session will return. Actual results vary, and there is no guarantee of a particular outcome.
The game's advertised maximum win is 20,000x your stake. This is a theoretical upper limit rather than an expected result, and it should not be taken as a guide to what you might win in a typical session.
